Life
Um...life. So, I have worked on both concentration paintings and think that they are going pretty well. Though, I am worried about being eaten alive for not painting a background. But one of the paintings is up close and zoomed in and is only made of flesh. I am hoping I can make it look volumetric. I have been trying to make pieces that are proportionally accurate while still being quite abstract. I'm considering moving back to charcoal. I love painting, but I need more drawings and people seem like they're getting sick of my paintings, so....we'll see. Um...life.

National Portfolio Day
So I visited San Francisco Art Institute, Laguna College of Art and Design, California College of the Arts, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Rohd Island College of design. I recieved great feedback from all of the schools, most of which was really positive, but I'm pretty sure that California schools like me a lot more than east coast schools. They can be scary, but it's always good to hear opinions. It was really helpful in guiding me for individual portfolios. (Because I'm making a few different kinds) Anyway, this weekend was very helpful and all of the posotive feedback made me a lot less nervous about college.

Over Break
Hey everyone, it's been a crazy, short break packed with so much...Today I died my hair with this crazy hippy stuff. It was pretty much mud, but luckily, my hair turned out ok. Well anyway, about the business, I took about 1000 photos this break and got a new camera. I've been testing it out and really enjoying it. Here are a few that made it into my 20...
